Building The JGH Hope & Cope Wellness Centre

The JGH Hope & Cope Wellness Centre opened in February 2007. The official launch was held in July of that year, in the presence of the Mayor of Montreal, Hope & Cope supporters and community partners, principal benefactor Joelle Berdugo Adler as well as dignitaries from the Jewish General Hospital and the Montreal community. The ceremony ended with the release of 100 monarch butterflies into the Wellness Centre garden, a potent symbol of the beauty and resilience of cancer survivors.
